Premise 1: The Genesis account of creation describes the infinite intelligence involved in the creation of the Universe

There are 5 literary styles in the Bible— Law, Poetry, Wisdom, Prophecy, Letters and Narrative. The book of Genesis and the Creation account in Chapter One is written as narrative history—which means that the primary focus is on the “What” and “Who” of the events detailed. The creation narrative was never intended to be a scientific treatment of origins but was written as a historical documentation of facts concerning what God created and how long it took Him to do it.

In an economy of words the first line of Genesis places supreme emphasis on the “Who” and the “What” of creation

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

The emphasis is threefold:

1. First God
2. Second the universe
3. Third the Earth

The author of Genesis starts with the obvious assumption that God creating the universe and complex life out of nothing is a miracle beyond human comprehension.

Advances in science are highlighting what the Bible has been stating all along——the creation of the universe, life, biological diversity, information, and laws of physics was not the result of natural processes but a sequence of super-natural events.

The Bible mentions the Creation event over 100 times and Jesus himself quoted Genesis 10 times— it is always alluded to as a super-natural event that only an infinite God could fully understand and that finite man was the privileged species that would document, superintend and marvel at.

The spontaneous generation of all matter, complex design, and perfect laws is the miracle of all miracles and that is how the creation account is treated throughout Scripture.

But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
    or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
    or let the fish in the sea inform you.
 Which of all these does not know
    that the hand of the Lord has done this?
 In his hand is the life of every creature
    and the breath of all mankind.

Genesis 1 is not just the Creation Chapter—It is the first chapter in understanding that God exist outside of nature and that He is far above anything He created in nature.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
    neither are your ways my ways,”

    so are my ways higher than your ways
    and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Mankind’s greatest capacity above all other created forms is the God-given ability to observe, study, and marvel at the miracle of creation. This capacity does not include the infinite knowledge required to fully explain it, that knowledge exceeds the range of human comprehension.

The strength and weakness of physicists is that we believe in what we can measure. And if we can’t measure it, then we say it probably doesn’t exist. And that closes us off to an enormous amount of phenomena that we may not be able to measure because they only happened once. For example, the Big Bang…That’s one reason why they scoffed at higher dimensions for so many years. Now we realize there’s no alternative

The author of Genesis wrote his account with this same perspective knowing that he can only document the greatest miracle in cosmic history. The writer assumes the that no one will ever know how the first cell, molecule, atom, bacteria, worm, kangaroo, man, star, planet, law or constant was made.

Whatever science’s greatest advancements they will never be able to make make a cell, molecule, atom, or even a blade of grass from scratch. The creation of complex life from non-life and the spontaneous creation of mathematically precise physical laws that support and sustain life minute by minute not only boggles the mind it exceeds the parameters of comprehension.

Premise 2 : The Genesis account of creation is in harmony with the Laws of Science and the Rules of Logic

The Big Bang theory says that the universe came into being from a point of singularity 13 billion years ago that burst forth and expanded into all that we see now. The Bible on the other hand claims that an omnipotent God is responsible for the spontaneous creation of the universe from nothing. Both of these claims contain a faith component. Both worldviews hinge on essential precepts that cannot be proven empirically.

The Bible makes it clear that the creation of the universe was a super-natural event that can’t be substantiated strictly with science. Evolutionists on the other hand claim their theory is based on fact and should be taught as fact even though major components of the theory cannot be proven.

Here are some other ways both worldviews cannot be explained naturally:

Naturalist insist that evolution is a fact of science. However, according to the rules of science it shouldn’t even be considered a hypothesis since there is no conceivable way that it can be tested. This is the very argument evolutionist use against Creationist.

Many leading evolutionists have recognized the essentially  “religious” character of evolutionism in that it like “Creationism” cannot be proved, or tested; it can only be believed.

Harrison Matthews; a prominent British biologistin the Introduction to the 1971 edition of Darwin’s Origin of Species, said that “belief in the theory of evolution” was “exactly parallel to belief in special creation.

In order for a theory to qualify as a scientific theory it must be supported by observations that are repeatably observable and the theory must, in principle, be falsifiable. That is, there must be some way to demonstrate that the theory is false if indeed it is false.

Neither creation nor evolution fulfills the criteria of a scientific theory. There were no human observers to the origin of the universe, the origin of life, or to the origin of a single living thing. These events occurred in the unobservable past and are not repeatable in the present. Creation and evolution are inferences based on circumstantial evidence.

If the evolutionist refuses to believe in God, he must still believe in some kind of uncaused First Cause. He must also either believe matter came into existence out of nowhere or else believe matter is eternal. Otherwise it would be like saying In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

The law of cause and effect which is universally accepted and followed in every field in science stipulates not only that every effect must have a cause but that: Every cause must be superior to it’s effect!

In other words eternal matter must have an eternal cause, infinite space must have an infinite first cause.

Whereas Evolution provides no first cause which every effect must have— The Bible is in harmony with the Law of First Causes and explains that God is the infinite and eternal first cause.

Herbert Spencer a well known biologist and anthropologist discovered that all the reality in the universe can be contained in five categories:

1. Time
2. Force
3. Action
4. Space
5. Matter

All five of these categories are contained in the first sentence of Genesis

If science has shown that God does not exists, it has not been by appealing to Big Bang Cosmology. The hypothesis of God’s existence and the facts of contemporary cosmology are consistent.

Based on observations of the world, we know that this first cause must have certain characteristics:

For example, it must be powerful, eternal, necessary, changeless, intelligent, and creative. The first cause must be powerful enough to have created this universe. It must be eternal, having no beginning or end. It must be necessary, meaning there had to be a first cause that’s existence was not contingent on anything else. It must be intelligent and creative to have caused a world of diversity and order. It must be changeless because the first cause had nothing before it to influence it. The God of the Bible satisfies these requirements.

What about the Origin of the Laws of Nature?

The evolution model presupposes that the universe can be completely explained in terms of natural processes. Therefore if evolution is true even the laws of physics and the 26 constants that make life possible evolved randomly by natural processes as well.

If this were true then the laws along with matter and energy would still be evolving now just as they did in the past. However, all scientific observations made to date confirm that these laws of nature are constant and unchanging.

The law of gravity, the laws of thermodynamics, the laws of motion, and all other basic laws have apparently always functioned just the way the do now contrary to the basic evolution model

The creation model agrees with what scientist have observed that the laws of physics are not in process but are constant and predictable which is why they are called “laws”. Creationist believe that the universe and the laws that govern and sustain it were created at the same time.

Since the Laws and constants are essential to life they would have had to be in force at the precise moment of the creation of the universe—this is another way the creationist model harmonizes with the laws of nature and the Theory of Evolution doesn’t.

What about the rules of logic?

The Theory of Evolution posits that matter and energy alone have given rise to all things, including biological systems. To hold true, this theory must attribute the existence of all information ultimately to the interaction of matter and energy without reference to an intelligent or conscious source.

If evolution is true the laws of physics, and constants essential to life had to evolve at the exact moment the Big Bang explosion took place. To posit that that precision and distinct purpose could arise spontaneously out of random chaos defies the laws of information.

These fundamental laws exclude the possibility that information, including biological information, can arise purely from matter and energy without reference to an intelligent agent.

This is just one of the glaring ways the Theory of Evolution defies logic. Postulating that complex laws, order, design, and the information in DNA and the atom all created themselves randomly by chance contradicts the Laws of Information. In the history of science information and complexity has never occurred randomly and without an intelligent agent. The Bible says that God was that intelligent agent and law maker who created the infinitely complex laws of physics instantly and perfectly.

But this is what the Lord says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky.

The seventeenth-century mathematician and philosopher Sir Isaac Newton had a mechanical replica of our solar system made in miniature. At its center was a large golden ball representing the sun, and revolving around it were smaller spheres attached at the ends of rods of varying lengths. They represented Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and the other planets. These were all geared together by cogs and belts to make them move around the sun in perfect harmony.

One day as Newton was studying the model, an atheist friend stopped by for a visit. Marveling at the device and watching as the scientist made the heavenly bodies move in their orbits, the man exclaimed, “My, Newton, what an exquisite thing! Who made it for you?” Without looking up, Sir Isaac replied, “Nobody.” “Nobody?” his friend asked. “That’s right! I said nobody! All of these balls and cogs and belts and gears just happened to come together, and wonder of wonders, by chance they began revolving in their set orbits and with perfect timing.”

His friend undoubtedly got the point. The existence of Newton’s machine presupposed a maker, and even more so the earth and its perfectly ordered solar system.

As you can see the theory that man evolved in an evolutionary chain starting with an amoeba cannot be observed and the theory is non-falsifiable. It thus fails to satisfy the criteria of a scientific theory. The same can be said of creation theory. We do not see God creating anything today, and as a theory, creation is non-falsifiable. Nevertheless, one or the other must be true. Furthermore, each can be used as a scientific model and discussed in scientific terms.

There is circumstantial evidence against which each theory can be compared — the fossil record, the laws of thermodynamics, the laws of probability, evidence of design and purpose, etc. After that is done then, the question can be asked, “Which model of origins, creation or evolution, do the data fit best?”

Challenge Question: Considering the Laws of Science and the Rules of Logic—which worldview harmonizes with the Laws of Physics and the rules of logic the most?

Premise 3: The Genesis account of creation describes the sudden appearance of complex organisms that the fossil record has confirmed

And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so

Extensive research and exploration of the fossil record contradicts Evolution but affirms Creation. Species appear suddenly and fully intact.

Rather than animal kinds coming about by natural selection somehow adding new genes and organs to pre-existent ancestors as Darwin’s ideas predicted, the fossil record provides no hint in the lowest known fossil-bearing rocks (named “Precambrian” and “Cambrian”) of single-celled organisms morphing into the multi-celled creatures. The “Cambrian Explosion” describes the sudden appearance of all the radically-different blueprint types of each animal all in one rock system. This gap—which occurs globally—should not even exist locally if evolutionism is true.

Of the 43 living land animal orders, such as carnivores, rodents, bats, and apes 97.7% have appeared in the fossil record fully formed with no intermediates

Of the 178 living land animal families, such as dogs, bears, hyenas, and cats 87.8% have appeared in the fossil record fully formed with no intermediates

There is separation from other phyla by definite and unbridgeable gaps with no ancestor-descendant/bottom-top transitions

All forms suddenly appear as unique body plans with fully-formed structures

All show no innovative change in their basic anatomical form after they first appear as fossils—only minor, top-down variation within a blueprint design.

Today’s most ardent evolutionist admit that the fossil record correlates with the Genesis account of creation and contradicts the Theory of Evolution.

And we find many of them already in an advanced state of evolution, the very first time they appear. It is as thought they were just planted there, without any evolutionary history. Needless to say, this appearance of sudden planting has delighted creationist…the only alternative explanation of the sudden appearance of so many complex animal types in the Cambrian era is divine creation.

Evolutionist believe that all of the 8.7 million species evolved from a parent single celled organism. However paleontologist have uncovered both single celled and complex organisms living together in the beginning of the fossil record which contradicts Theory of Evolution but supports what is clearly stated in the first chapter of Genesis that God created animals, insects, fish, birds, and plants with advanced complexity right out of the gate.

Charles Darwin admitted that the fossil record presented “the most obvious and greatest objection which can be urged against my theory” . He fully understood that for complex organisms to appear suddenly fully formed in the fossil record would be classified as “miraculous”.

Organisms either appeared on the earth fully developed or they did not. If they didn’t then they must have developed from pre-existing species by some process of modification. If they did appear in a fully formed state, they must have been created by some omnipotent intelligence.

Modern Paleontology has confirmed Darwin’s greatest fear that the sudden appearance of fully formed complex organisms can only be classified as miraculous which is exactly what the Genesis account of creation stipulates.

Challenge Question: What is the best explanation is for the fact that 97.7 percent of animal phyla suddenly appears in the fossil record fully formed and altogether?

Premise 4: The Genesis account of creation describes the bio-diversity genetics has discovered

Evolution postulates that all the diversity found in nature is the result of single celled organisms evolving into all the complexity we see today. However, the fossil record shows single celled organisms and complex organisms appear together in the earliest parts of the fossil record. There are no two celled, or three celled organisms…just one celled or total complexity.

 The Bible not only affirms what the fossil record shows—that animals, plants, fish, birds, and insects were created fully formed but it provides the first introduction into genetics and taxonomy. The word Genesis is the Greek word “genetikos” which means “origin” or “generation.” It is where we get the words “gene” and “genetics” from.

Also, the phrase created “according to their kind” is used 11 times in the first chapter of Genesis—the word kind (miyn) in hebrew means species. This may be the first use of the word “species” ever written in recorded language.

In 1859 when Origin of Species was published only 15% of the 8.7 million species on earth had been documented. Charles Darwin never had an inkling that every single one of the 8.7 different types of organisms has it’s own totally distinct DNA code. Modern genetics has revealed that every species from bacteria to homo-sapiens has it’s own information rich code that contains design, operation, and maintenance instructions that cannot be successfully merged with any other species.

Since the fossil record demonstrates the sudden appearance of species fully formed then that means each organisms DNA code suddenly appeared fully instructional as well.

This is exactly what the Biblical account of origins stipulates while even using the actual word species to describe it. On the other hand, evolution states that the Big Bang took place and a single-celled organism some how emerged from non-living chemicals, dust, and matter and then evolved into more complex organisms eventually as biologically advanced as mankind.

While modern genetics has shown that macroevolution does take place it has also revealed that it is strictly limited to small scale adaptations within the same species. Genome research has proven that mutations are merely minor changes in existing information. The wholesale mutations such fish scales becoming feathers, or gills becoming lungs is not possible genetically.

The sudden appearance of fully formed creatures at the earliest strata of the fossil record reveals that their DNA was complete and not in process. This is is exactly what the first chapter of Genesis describes:

First there were plants

Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with seed in them

The word kind is also where we get the our English word kin or kinfolk from. The Bible implies specifically that there numerous species of plants created all at once that were not descendants of each other, and that their DNA was in their seed.

More than 35,000 new species (kinds) of flowering plants may be lying undiscovered in cupboards around the world. Botanists believe that of the 70,000 flowering plants have yet to be found, over half may already be in collections awaiting classification (BBC.com)   

Next there were fish and birds

So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind

Genesis 1:21

Once again several taxonomic species (this time fish and birds) were created all at once according the their genetic classifications (kinds or species)

Biologist are discovering 150 new species of fish every year. Experts estimate that characterizing the 5,000 species of marine fish that are now unknown will take another 30 years (US News & World Report)

Animals, Insects, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Bacteria

Then God said, “Let earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: a cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind”; And God made the beast of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind

Notice the double amplification that each group is distinct from each other genetically, created all at once with no ancestral descent.

Conservative estimates suggest that anywhere between 2 million and 30 million of the world’s insects have not been named yet (Smithsonian)

A plain reading of Genesis Chapter One infers that plants and animals were created to reproduce within the boundaries of their kind. Evidence to support this is clearly seen in the world today—dogs cannot breed with cats, and horses cannot breed with cows.

Why is this so important? Because this is in harmony with the Genesis creation account that plants, animals, insects, fish, and birds were created as individual species ready to mature and breed within their own kinds.

Evolution posits not only that plants and animals share the same common ancestor, but that all organisms animals, fish, insects, and birds descended from each even though it is impossible for them to inter-breed. If Evolution is true—How did species multiply and avoid extinction while they were in the process of developing into another species and the reproductive system and organs were incompatible?

Premise 5: The Genesis account of creation describes how God made the Earth the only planet fit for life

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was empty, a formless mass cloaked in darkness.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface

The first sentence in the Book of Genesis introduces the blank canvas that God is about to create His masterpiece on. The Hebrew words tohu (formless) and bohu (empty) indicates that in the beginning the Earth was just like every other planet—a wasteland void of life.

The next sentence explains what began to separate the Earth from the other planets—it says the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface. This is an indication that God was setting the Earth apart from other planets anointing it to be the only place where biological life could exist and where human life would be inaugurated.

Science is confirming the exclusivity of the Earth

Since becoming fully operational in 2022, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has been collecting some of the most breathtaking images of the heavens ever seen. Roughly the size of a tennis court, this $10-billion observatory is the largest and most powerful telescope ever built.

Using its infra-red telescope, the JWST observatory can examine objects over 13.6 billion light-years away. Because of the time it takes light to travel across the Universe, this means that the JWST will effectively be looking at objects 13.6 billion years ago, an estimated 100 to 250 million years after the Big Bang.

Just recently an International team of astronomers used the telescope to image an exoplanet that is 6 times the size of Jupiter roughly 12 light years —or roughly 5.88 trillion miles from Earth.

The spectacular images the JWST telescope is capturing are exceeding the expectations of astronomers. However evolutionist scientist have been baffled and surprised to find that much of what they are seeing reported by the telescope doesn’t fit with their current theories of galaxy evolution.

To everyone who sees them, the new James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) images of the cosmos are beautifully awe-inspiring. But to most professional astronomers and cosmologists, they are also extremely surprising—not at all what was predicted by theory. In the flood of technical astronomical papers published online since July 12, the authors report again and again that the images show surprisingly many galaxies, galaxies that are surprisingly smooth, surprisingly small and surprisingly old. Lots of surprises, and not necessarily pleasant ones. One paper’s title begins with the candid exclamation: “Panic!”

The two biggest disappointments to Evolutionist are:

• Fully formed galaxies at extreme distances reveal that they look just like the ones that are close by—Formless and empty.

• The JWST has not revealed life on any planet in the over 100 billion galaxies that the Hubble telescope had previously discovered

The James Webb Telescope is revealing that of the 2 trillion galaxies and countless stars in the Universe the Earth is the only planet that not only has life— but intelligent life.

Why is this critical for evolutionists? Because it is getting harder and harder to explain why the Big Bang could provide just the right amount right amount of chance + chemicals + energy to create life and liquid water essential to life here but not on any other of the millions of galactic masses the JWST telescope is observing. Why wouldn’t there be other planets fit for life if they were all created at the same time from the same chemicals and energy that caused the Big Bang?

The Earth seems to be designed exclusively for life

A planet is considered habitable if it can support life for a long time. The definition of a habitable planet is based on our solar system and includes the following requirements.

Nutrients	Planets need systems to deliver nutrients to organisms such as water cycle or volcanic activity. Nutrients need to be spread out so they are not too hard to obtain like on gas planets.
Chemical Ingredients	Life needs certain chemical elements like carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and sulfur to form organic molecules. These elements make up 98% of living matter on earth.
Atmosphere	A protective atmosphere can keep a planet warm and protect it from radiation.
Distance from the star or sun	A planet needs to be far enough away from it’s star to avoid being too hot or too cold
Core	A planet’s core can provide geothermal energy, cycle raw materials, and create a magnetic field to protect from radiation

The earth is the only planet with liquid water at the surface in liquid form, has perfect proximity to its star, has a system of plate tectonics that enable temperature regulating cycle, and is just the right size—large enough to hang on to its atmosphere, but not so large to hold on to too much atmosphere and heat.

Here is a list of essential contingencies that makes the Earth perfect for life. To assume all six contingencies happened to the Earth through random natural processes as the result of a chaotic explosion begs the question: Why didn’t this happen to any other planet then?

Life must be in the right type of galaxy	Of the 3 types of galaxies, only spiral galaxies (like the Milky Way) can support life
Life must be in the right location in the galaxy	We are situated in just the right place in the Milky Way to avoid harmful radiation
Life must have the right type of star	While most stars are too large, too luminous, or too unstable to support life, our sun is just the right size and age
Life must have the right relationship to its host star	If the Earth were slightly closer or farther from the sun water would either freeze or evaporate
Life needs surrounding planets for protection	A habitable planet must have large surrounding bodies (such as Jupiter and Uranus) to protect it from incoming comets
Life requires the right type of moon	If the Earth did not have a moon of the right size and distance, it would be inhabitable. The moon stabilizes the Earth’s tilt, preventing extreme temperatures and thus creating a stable, life-friendly environment

Fine-tuning refers to the surprising precision of nature’s physical constants and the early  conditions of the universe. To explain how a habitable planet like Earth could even exist, these fundamental constants have to be set to just the right values (like tuning a dial to find just the right radio station). If the universe had physical constants with even slightly different values, the universe simply could not support life: it would expand too quickly, or never form carbon atoms, or never make complex molecules like DNA.

Electromagnetic force constant	If larger there would be insufficient chemical bonding. Elements more massive than boron would be too unstable. If smaller there would be insufficient chemical bonding and inadequate quantities of either carbon or oxygen.
Strong nuclear force constant	If larger there could be no hydrogen and nuclei essential for life would be unstable. If smaller there would be no other elements other than hydrogen.
Weak nuclear force constant	If larger there would be too much hydrogen converted to helium in the Big Bang causing too much heavy element material. If too little helium produced from Big Bang would cause too little heavy element material to be made and not expulsion of heavy elements from stars would result.
Ratio of electromagnetic force constant	If larger there would be no stars of less than 1.4 solar masses, hence short stellar life spans and uneven stellar luminosities. If smaller there could be no stars of more than 0.8 solar masses and there could be heavy element production.
Ratio of electron to proton mass	If larger there would be insufficient chemical bonding for stable molecules to be possible. If smaller there would be insufficient chemical bonding for stable molecules to be possible.

The fine-tuning of these precise constants point to a planning and guiding creative intelligence

In order to believe that the universe exists by a natural process, it must explain how gravity could come into existence during the first zeptosecond of time and balance itself precisely with electromagnetism—with a tolerance of less than 10^40?

How could unthinking, unknowing elements guide themselves so that they were set at a tolerance so small that any change, greater or lesser than 10^40 would cause the immediate destruction of the universe?

If the universe evolved over billions of years, why does the evidence prove that gravity and electromagnetism were set precisely the first time—exactly when the universe began? The only way that this would be possible is if an intelligence knew ahead of time what this precise setting should be, and that gravity was essential to this process.

The word “mankind” contains the same genetic connotation that the word “kind” did with other plants, animals, birds, and insect species— but mankind is the only species not coupled or listed with others.

The specialness of this section is apparent because in v. 26 the narrative changes from the third person to the first person plural—”Then God said, “Let us… this indicates divine dialogue. God makes an awesome declaration with the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to make the only creatures who will share attributes they all share.

The image of God refers to the moral, spiritual, and intellectual nature inherent in mankind but not other species. It is what sets human beings apart from the animal world and fits them for the superintendence God intended them to have over the earth. Most importantly enables them to perceive, contemplate, and commune with their creator.

Another distinct way humans differ from animals is our capacity to worship. Worship is the way the human soul attributes honor or gravitas to something or someone.

Imagine if no one had ever seen water water before—or tasted or touched it. Then one day a man arrives and reveals that he has combined two molecules of Hydrogen with one molecule of Oxygen and created water. He probably would be hailed as a genius he would be and given a Noble Prize on the spot.

Now imagine if someone actually made the Hydrogen molecule, or created Oxygen both of which are essential to life just as water is. What would you say about Him?

H²O is which is just one of the 166.7 billion molecules in the chemical universe database that would absolutely blow our minds if we had never seen or touched it before. This substance which covers 71% of the Earth’s but can’t be found in liquid form on any other planet is just one of the million and millions of marvels of creation that would utterly astonish if we just found out about them today.

The Bible says that everyday the marvels off the Universe, it’s precise order, laws, beauty, bio-diversity and design provide clear and tangible testimony about the existence of a super intelligent, super powerful, super creative God.

“There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard.” In other words, creation itself is silent revelation, but it is revelation that can’t go unnoticed by anyone.

Everyone on the globe; scientist and non-scientist alike can look at creation and see clear evidence that:

5. God is Infinitely Ordered and Precise

A first grader can look up at the stars, feel atmosphere on there face, air in his lungs, and perceive with his conscious soul that the beauty, design, and perfect order they are seeing is the result of a higher power and supreme intelligence.

Even the hardest to convince scientist should be able to observe the miniature universe contained in the atom, the irreducible complexity of anatomical bodies, or the terabytes of information contained in DNA and see God’s awesome power and intelligence.

God has provided several testimonials of His existence, power, wisdom and purposefulness

1. The created order of nature which He spoke into existence
2. The Bible which he inspired men to write which tells how and why
3. The exclusiveness of Human conscience, cognition, and creativity from other creatures
4. The moral consciousness of humans that distinguishes us from brute nature and the base principal of survival of the fittest

These are the internal and external attestors God has provided to every man, women, and child on earth to recognize His existence and give proper weight or “gravitas” to it.

Every day and night the complexity, beauty, and order of every natural thing in the universe speaks of a Creator God. God is the creator, He is the informer, He is the Law maker, and He is the Sustainer.

The Universe is God’s open invitation to seek more knowledge of Him not just more knowledge of the world He created.

Challenge Question: Have you ever contemplated how all the marvels you have experienced in nature came into being? Have you ever wondered why your the only species who is contemplated such important matters?

Final Premise: The Bible says that to deny God as Creator is to suppress what is obvious

The Bible says that God’s eternal power and divine nature is clearly exhibited in creation. The word clearly means (manifest). This is does not represent a secret and obscure revelation that only a scientist or theologian is able to comprehend. The Bible says creation and the regularly observable operations in nature daily reveal the existence of a God who is majestic, transcendent, and powerful. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, ¹⁹ since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

Romans 1: 18 describes how science or even a common sense observation of nature makes it “plain” that their is a Creator God who has a divine nature and exhibits eternal power. It says that He takes huge offense when that truth is denied or suppressed by people who He created who get there sustenance from the things He created.

The idea of suppression the author of Romans is alluding to represents a continual and aggressive striving against the truth. When scientist or non-scientist attribute the “miraculousness” of creation to mere “Chance” or classify mankind as a merely an cerebrally advanced animal is the kind of “pushing down” or suppressing of the truth that makes them the subject of God’s abiding anger.

Attributing order, complexity, information, physics, beauty and design to “chance” and “random purposelessness” seeks to replace God with nature— more importantly it is tacit rejection of the facts and the pushing away of the knowledge God is putting into their hearts and directly in front of their eyes.

Some scientist are honest enough to reveal that this is what they are prepared to do regardless of what observations in nature or science reveals to them about God

When it comes to the origin of life, we have only two possibilities as to how life arose. One is spontaneous generation arising to evolution; the other is a supernatural creative act of God. There is not third possibility…Spontaneous generation was scientifically disproved 100 years ago by Louis Pasteur, Spellanzani, Reddy and others.

That leads us scientifically to only one possible conclusion—that life arose as a supernatural creative act of God…I will not accept that philosophically because I do not want to believe in God. Therefore, I choose to believe in that which I know is scientifically impossible
